Jeff huntington biography

Jeff Huntington, the renowned American painter was born in 1970 in San Antonio, Texas. From early childhood, he was attracted to art and was determined to make his career out of it.

In his teens, he started making tie-dyed T-shirts and selling them across the country with the band “Grateful Dead”. In 1990 he joined the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design in Washington D.C. and got his BFA in 1995.  He continued his study to earn his Masters in Fine Arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997.

Since his first exhibition in 1992, Jeff has participated in over forty exhibitions and won numerous awards. In 2005, his work was showcased in exhibitions in ‘december 2005’ at the Alpan Gallery in Long Island,  ‘Transformer’s 2nd Annual Auction’ at the Fusebox in Washington, DC, and ‘Bill Newman and Friends: Uncommon Vision’ at the Arts Club of Washington, DC.
