Created by the famed producer David Wolper and narrated by Mike Wallace, this episode of the long-running TV show ‘Biography’ dates to 1963 and profiles Emperor Hirohito.
Hirohito was the 124th emperor of Japan, and presided over the country from 1926 to 1989; a period encompassing much of the country’s history including WW2. Some of the events included are the invasion of China, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and the Japanese surrender to the Allies.
