The GazettE is one of the most popular j-rock and visual kei bands. They are not afraid to experiment with music and its sounding, so they add hip-hop and punk elements.
But the range of their works includes also ballads, emotional and strong. The outstanding feature of the band is considered to be Ruki’s vocal, that is can’t be called singing sometimes, and Reita’s bass playing.

When Karasu, the band that Uruha and Reita were in, disbanded, Ruki who was drummer in another band named Mikoto in Yokohama, got them to join the group (Ma'die Kusse), but finally it disbanded either.
